From 7 September meat_coin restaurants will present Bağ Bozumu: a seasonal menu with fig, pomegranate and plum. The special includes four dishes, a cocktail and wine pairings selected for each course.
The name Bağ Bozumu translates from Turkish as the grape harvest. In Turkey the end of the harvest season is traditionally marked with large feasts: tables are set right in the vineyards, meat is grilled over open fire, and young wine is drunk until dark. At meat_coin this tradition is reinterpreted through early-autumn gastronomy, with fig, pomegranate and plum as the menu’s main products.
The first course will be fig carpaccio with cheese and pomegranate. The sweetness of the ripe fruit is set off by salty cheese and pomegranate acidity. It is followed by a salad with fig and smoked Greek yogurt, in which fruit freshness meets smoky notes. The main dish of the special: duck breast with sweet potato and plum. The menu closes with fig, goat cheese cream and lavender.

For each course the restaurant team selected a wine pairing. The bar side of the special is represented by Figs Sour: a cocktail based on cognac and sweet sherry with fig and lemon. Special Bağ Bozumu will run in all meat_coin restaurants until the end of September.
